The Mariam Adeola Gbadebo (MAG) Foundation – (The MAG Foundation) is a non-profit, nongovernmental organisation established in 2023 to foster transformative change by promoting good health, gender equality, and environmental sustainability in Africa. The MAG Foundation was inspired by its founder’s journey, having endured several health challenges and most recently survived end-stage renal disease/Chronic Kidney disease The MAG Foundation is dedicated to fostering an African society that is healthy, empowered and equitable for all through initiatives prioritising good health, gender equality, and environmental sustainability. Our work is guided by a commitment to creating lasting, positive change across communities facing health and development challenges that hinder progress and stability.

OUR THEMATIC FOCUS AND INTERVENTIONS
At MAG Foundation we have four thematic focuses, Women’s Health and Well-being, Economic Empowerment, Gender Equality, and Environmental Sustainability interventions providing a strategic framework for driving transformative change in Africa.
1. Women's Health and Well-being: Intervention: At MAG Foundation we develop specific initiatives targeting kidney health and implement comprehensive healthcare programs addressing maternal and child mortality, curbing communicable diseases, and chronic illnesses.
2. Women’s Economic Empowerment: Intervention: We create and support programs promoting economic opportunities for women, including skills acquisition and development, and entrepreneurship initiatives.
3. Gender Equality and Social Justice: Intervention: We advocate for and implement strategies to address gender-based discrimination, limited educational access, economic disparities, and harmful practices hindering gender equality.
4. Environmental Sustainability and Climate Resilience: Intervention: We raise ecological awareness campaigns, promote sustainable practices, and actively participate in climate change adaptation efforts to ensure lasting positive changes in women's health, well-being, and economic power.
